Tucked just inside the main Inn sits the Stonewall Tavern - a Vermont-inspired rustic hub of culinary activity.
Our tavern is softly open to the public from 5-8pm, closed Mondays and Tuesdays through the Winter, or open by pop-up event. Also inquire about Holiday hours as we are a small family operated business. Call ahead to be sure we can accommodate. Well behaved children are welcome, however, the inn is 12yo and over for the overnight policy.

JULY 4th!!! Every year… Manchester Town Fireworks are across the street, save yourself the parking headache and stay with us! Viewed perfectly from our upper meadow. Our Stonewall Tavern is open until the Fireworks display starts. ***We do have a private tented event occurring on July 4th. Overnight guests and the general public are still welcome, so please come join us!***

…We are thrilled to be an official satellite dining location for the Manchester Food & Wine Festival, offering an unforgettable evening that celebrates the talented farmers, artisans, and makers from our region.
Join us on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Barnstead Inn for a unique dining experience where local flavors take center stage. Curated by renowned Chef Amy Chamberlain, this intimate dinner will feature a crafted 4-course, pre-fix menu curated from the best of what our region has to offer. Featuring carefully selected ingredients sourced from nearby farms, cheesemakers, and breweries, including a beverage pairing with every course! What's more, some of the featured purveyors will be on property to chat about their craft and share the stories behind the ingredients incorporated into each course.
This evening offers the rare chance to connect with the people behind the products, while savoring a thoughtfully paired dinner that celebrates the true taste of the land.
A night of rich local flavors, shared stories, and meaningful connections awaits to create an experience unlike any other.
Tickets are $180 per person, plus beverages (other than the course pairings), tax and gratuity.

Our Tavern~
With plenty of space for Inn guests and some local visitors, Stonewall Tavern features Vermont and traditional spirits, craft beers, hand-selected wine, delicious cocktails and an array of small bites and breakfast options to suit all tastes.
Settle in alongside our seasonal fireplace to enjoy a made-to-order breakfast included with guest stays 8:30am-10:00am. Breakfast is not open to the public.
